It's no secret - we're in an original content drought. With fewer unique stories being created and shared, it can feel like creativity itself is running dry.

I love that Tribeca is embracing Web3 technology. I wouldn't be surprised if they also issue their awards as NFTs. Filmmakers need award certificates that exist on-chain and last forever!
I don't want to get greedy, though. I'll take the NFT tickets for now.

3. Monday Motivation | How To Increase Your Public Speaking Skillz
Years of giving ghost tours taught me the secrets to public speaking.
(and damn, was I good)
Try these 4 tricks to become a kickass public speaker:
1️⃣ Start With Some Sauce:
Jazz the people up from the beginning.
👉 First impressions are vital. Your audience needs to know that the next hour will be entertaining.
I'd crank my energy to 100 for the first 5 minutes when giving tours - putting my showmanship on display from the jump.
2️⃣ Own the Silence:
Using silence strategically is a creative way to create drama and raise the stakes.
👉 Sometimes, that uncomfortable stillness can make people sit up straight in anticipation of what will come next.
When giving ghost tours, I'd intentionally pause before a spooky reveal.
Eye contact is crucial too. I'd make eye contact with every guest during the silence to add personalized suspense. 👀
3️⃣ Adjust Your Volume:
Here's the secret...
👉 Get quiet for a setup.
👉 Get loud for a payoff.
You want your audience to lean in when you take your volume down. That's how you know they're hanging on every word.
And then when they're nice and close...
💥 BAM 💥
Hit 'em with the punchline!
It works every time. 💯
4️⃣ Own the Room:
It doesn't matter if you're on a stage or in a small room - own it.
Walk around with confidence - like a boss.
You'll exude authority, and the people will love it.
Follow these 4 tips, and you’ll give kickass speeches in any environment.

4. Doodles Buy An Animation Studio
Doodles purchased the Emmy-nominated animation studio Golden Wolf. 🎬🤯
Doodles burst onto the scene in 2021 with NFTs based on characters created by the artist Burnt Toast (a.k.a. Scott Martin).
👉 This NFT project quickly became a full-blown franchise of animations, games, music, and merchandise.
And you know what? They're just getting started!
With their recent acquisition, Doodles' original content game is about to go crazy. 📈
Fused with irreverent humor and intense action, Golden Wolf produced standouts like Rick & Morty for Adult Swim. They've also worked with Disney, Illumination Entertainment, Nike, and Facebook.
(they clearly pass the vibe check)
💡 Doodles will inevitably delve into original long-form animated series development.
They're putting their new-found capital to WORK.
Late last year, Doodles secured a massive $54 million funding at a staggering $704 million valuation.
VC funding is a polarizing topic amongst NFT communities.
👉 On the one hand, additional funding gives NFT brands capital to deploy on storytelling assets like animations and comic books.
👉 But on the other hand, many believe VC funding reduces the ownership power of NFT holders.
I fall on the side of the former. 🤷♂️
Projects must create reliable revenue streams outside of selling NFTs to grow into entertainment brands without funding. I'm still waiting to see an NFT project pull that off. So, for now, VC funding is necessary for leveling up.
📈 The Golden Wolf acquisition is fantastic news.
The NFT space needs a project to break out into mainstream entertainment pipelines, so the world can see the potential of NFT projects.
And Doodles is in an excellent position to make it happen.

Even OG trailblazer Kevin Rose couldn't escape being scammed out of a whopping $1.1 million in NFTs!
